Return & Refund Policy

At Ember & Reverie Coffee Co., your satisfaction matters to us. We strive to provide the highest quality coffee and products, but we understand that issues can arise. Please review our policy below for details on returns, refunds, and exchanges.

General Policy

We do not typically accept returns on perishable items like roasted coffee. However, your happiness is our priority. If something isn’t right with your order, contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll work with you to make it right

Non-Returnable Items

  • Roasted Coffee: Due to the perishable nature of coffee, we do not accept returns on roasted coffee. However, if you’re not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and we’ll do our best to make it right.
  • Coffee Ground Straws: For hygiene and safety reasons, these items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Sale Items: All sale or discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Gift Cards: Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Accessories & Merchandise

For non-perishable products such as coffee accessories and planners:

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was damaged or incorrect upon arrival.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please:

  1. Contact us at sales@emberandreverie.com within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging.
  3. We will provide a replacement, store credit, or refund based on the situation.

Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item (if applicable).
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the error was ours (damaged, defective, or incorrect items).

Klarna Purchases – (Equipment & Accessories Only)

  • Klarna is available only for non-perishable items such as coffee equipment, accessories, and merchandise.
  • Klarna cannot be used to purchase roasted coffee beans or other perishable products.
  • For roasted coffee, accepted payment methods include Shop Pay, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Returning Items Purchased with Klarna


Customers who paid with Klarna for eligible items (equipment/accessories) have the right to return those products for a full refund within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging due to sanitary and safety requirements.

Free return postage is available for Klarna purchases (subject to Klarna terms).

No Restocking Fees


Klarna purchases are refunded in full with no restocking fees or additional deductions.

No Store Credit or Exchanges

Returns for Klarna purchases are refunded only to the original payment method.

Store credit and exchanges do not apply to Klarna orders.

Refund Timeline for Klarna

Refunds for Klarna purchases will be issued within 14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
